Bonnie Dragstra

     Bonnie Dragstra, 54, of Primghar, IA died Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home in Primghar.

    A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center, IA with Rev. Dan Kruse officiating.  

     Burial will follow the service in Westlawn Cemetery of Orange City, Iowa.

     A visitation with the family present will be held from 1pm-2pm at Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26.

     In lieu of flowers family wish memorials be directed to Sioux Center Atlas.

     Bonnie Jo Dragstra (Klein), died at her home in Primghar, IA on July 23, 2018. Bonnie was born on August 9, 1963 to Herman “Lolly” and Beverly Klein (Schoen) in Sioux Center, IA. She attended and graduated from Sioux Center schools.

     Bonnie will be remembered for her love of laughter, never a stranger to a practical joke. With a strong work-ethic, she truly enjoyed the simple things in life. She was always happiest at home with her three boys, but could always be found traveling around the state watching her sons Kris and Trevor compete in athletics; rain or shine. She enjoyed “strolling down Memory Lane” with her inquisitive son Tyler.

     Bonnie was united in marriage to Dennis Pieper on August 9, 1991, with whom she shared three sons. They later divorced. Bonnie was united in marriage to Gerald Dragstra on October 11, 2013, with whom she spent her final years.

     She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald, of Primghar, IA; son, Kristopher Pieper and wife Ellie of Sioux Center, IA; son, Tyler Pieper, of Omaha, NE; and her son Trevor Pieper and wife Jayden of Carmel, IA; and brother, Ron Klein, of Pender, NE; special aunt, Donna Middle of Nevada, IA; as well as her grandchildren and step-children.

     She was preceded in death by her father, mother, two brothers; Randy Klein & Rodney Klein, and infant sister, Cheryl Lee Klein.

      She was the beloved aunt of many special nieces and nephews, whom she cared for dearly.
