Kevin Huitink age 46 of Sioux Falls, SD died Monday, March 12, 2018 at Ava's House - Sanford in Sioux Falls, SD.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 16th at Good News Church, 1800 S. Valley View Road, Sioux Falls, SD with Pastor Kevin Schneider, officiating.
Prayer service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 16th at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center, IA. Interment will follow the prayer service in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Sioux Center, IA.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 15th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Good News Church, 1800 S. Valley View Road, Sioux Falls, SD.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be designated for his children’s educational fund.

Kevin Grant Huitink, the son of Gene and Lois (Kramer) Huitink was born on September 17, 1971, in Orange City, Iowa. He attended and graduated from Orange City Christian School and Unity Christian High School. It was while at Unity that he met “the love of his life, Kim”. They were married on February 15, 1991, in Sioux Center, Iowa.
A loving and devoted husband and father, Kevin had a passion for all aspects of farming, with a special love for dairy farming and the crop harvest. He enjoyed watching the kids’ activities — football, baseball, softball, and volleyball. He always looked forward to watching Packers and Huskers football games together as a family, and watching Twins baseball, especially at Target Field.
Kevin was a member of Good News Church in Sioux Falls, where he served as an Elder, helped with VBS and was a Sunday School teacher.
Blessed to share in his life were his wife of 27 years, Kimberly; his son Jordan (and special friend Ashley Hess) and daughter Kaylie; his parents, Gene and Lois Huitink of Orange Ciy, IA; a sister, Becky (George) Scholten of Sioux Center, IA; parents-in-law Dave and Ardith Lein of Sioux Center, IA; brother-in-law Kris Visser of Sioux Center, IA; sister-in-law Jennifer (Eric) Kluesner of Epworth, IA; brother-in-law Andrew (Aggi) Lein of Mason City, IA; and nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Vera Huitink and Henry and Wilmina Kramer; and father-in-law Larry Visser.
