Gerald H. “Jerry” Kruger age 86 of Sioux Center died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Avera McKennan Hospital Sioux Falls, SD.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 29th at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center, IA with Dr. Jason Leif, officiating.
Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Luverne, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior the services on Friday, December 29th with family present at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.
Memorials may be directed to: Sioux Center Christian School or Family Crisis Center.
Gerald H. “Jerry” Kruger was born February 3, 1931 at Sherman, SD the son of John and Jenny (De Boer) Kruger. Gerald H. Kruger grew up at Sherman, SD where he attended Country School. Jerry entered the US Army at Fort Riley, KS in 1954, serving his country during the Korean War. He was united to Sally (Schouten) at Sioux Center, IA. Gerald H. Kruger was livestock and refrigerated long hauling truck driver, he hauled for various companies. Gerald H. Kruger loved driving truck, talking with others, walking, fixing things and mechanic work. He died this past Tuesday morning at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of eighty-six.
Gerald H. Kruger was survived by Jerome Kruger of Sioux Falls SD; Gayle Kruger of Atlanta, GA; Steve (Karmin) Kruger, Sioux Center, IA; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by Parents; 2 brothers, Alvin and Harvey Kruger; 3 sisters, Frances Caudle, Loretta Vander Bussche and Mavis Zetterland.
