Henrrietta Vanden Brink

Henrietta Vanden Brink, 89, of Hull, formerly of Sioux Center, died Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home of Hull, Iowa.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 5 at 10:30AM at the Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Everett  Adams officiating.  Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, half an hour prior to the service.

Henrietta Vanden Brink was born August 1, 1927 near Ireton, Iowa to Steven and Jennie (Van Ravenswaay) Van Den Brink.  She attended country school through the eighth grade. After school she was employed at the Sioux Cooperative Produce egg processing plant and then OTIS in Hawarden. Later in life she became a foster grandmother in Sioux Center.

Henrietta was a member of the Sioux Center Netherlands Reformed Congregation.

Henrietta is survived by; her brother and sister-in-law: and John and Henrietta Van Den Brink of Sioux Center; her sister: Josephine Koedam of Rock Valley, and sister in law, Lavina Vanden Brink along with several nieces and nephews.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Vanden Brink, Steve and Tillie Van Den Brink, Jr.; Sister; Gertrude Vanden Brink,;brother-in-law, Everett Koedam and five infant siblings.
