Howard William Hurlburt

 Howard William Hurlburt was born on April 29, 1937 at Whittemore, Iowa.  He went to be with his Lord Jesus on Sunday evening, July 3, 2016 at the Sanford Sheldon Hospital. 

 Howard lived in Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to Sioux Center, Iowa in March 2016.  In April he went to the Sanford Sheldon nursing home in Sheldon, Iowa.

 Howard was a member of the Zion Baptist Church where he served his Lord in many ways.  He loved singing gospel music and playing golf.

 He is survived by:  Two children - Cynthia Kryzywicki and Mark Hurlburt; Four sisters – Dorothy Eekhoff, Joyce (John) Muhm, Ethel (Elson) Haan, and Bonnie (Richard) Auld; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 He was preceded in death by:  His parents, Alton and Alice Hurlburt; two brothers, Orville and Robert; and a brother-in-law, Ray Eekhoff. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Memorial Cemetery in Algona, Iowa.
