Timothy Rensink

Timothy Rensink, 22, of Hospers, IA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at  his home in Sheldon, Ia.

Timothy Rensink was born on July 19, 1993 in Sioux Center, Ia to Clayton and Gail (Wiekamp)  Rensink. He was raised in Sioux Center and attended Sioux Center Christian Grade School and graduated from Sioux Center High School in 2012. He then attended Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, Ia. for one year. Tim was previously employed in Sioux Center at Pizza Ranch for 7 years. He was currently working at Godfather’s in Sheldon.

Tim was a member of New Life Reformed Church. Faith was very important to Tim, as his parents raised him to know the Lord.

Tim had many hobbies including going to his Uncle Kevin’s farm, where he loved to drive grandpa Wiekamp’s old tractor and drag the yard. He loved mashed potatoes, The Greenbay Packers and hunting. He also loved spending time with his cousin JJ (Jace).  His mother never gave up on him.

Survivors include his parents Clayton and Gail Rensink of Sioux Center, IA, one brother Cody Rensink of Sioux Center,IA, maternal grandpa Arlan Wiekamp of Sheldon, IA, paternal grandma Lois Rensink of Hospers, IA, paternal great grandmother Tilda Van Berkum of Rock Valley, IA, aunts and uncles, Valerie and John Cain of Ankeny, IA, Kevin and Tonya Wiekamp of Sanborn, IA, Marla and Tom Wibben of Sheldon, IA, Mavis and Rick Henning of George, IA, Carisa and Mark Ten Kley of Sheldon, IA, Lu Ann and Rokk Ridout of Alta, IA, Greg and Cindy Rensink of Chicago, IL, Kim and John Martin of St. Louis, MO, Karla and Larry Von Arb of Chicago, IL, Sheila and Edward De Laura of Port Washington, NY, great aunt Janice Wiekamp of Orange City, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Eunice Wiekamp and Glenn Rensink.
