Harv Nibbelink, 66, of Sioux Center, IA, died Monday, December 8, 2014, 2014, at his Sioux Center residence. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8PM, with the family present from 5-7PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center. A prayer service for family and friends will be held on Thursday at 9:30AM at the New Life Reformed Church of Sioux Center. Interment will follow the prayer service in Memory Gardens of Sioux Center. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 10:30AM at the New Life Reformed Church with Rev. Ray Tilstra officiating. The Nibbelink family prefers memorials to American Cancer Society. Harvey Gene Nibbelink was born January 14, 1948 to Gerrit and Henrietta (Boon) Nibbelink in Rock Valley, Iowa. Harv was raised in Rock Valley and attended Rock Valley Christian through the eighth grade. He married Judith Broek on October 16, 1968 in Sioux Center, Iowa. The couple lived in Sioux Center, where Harv worked for Link Manufacturing, drove truck and excavated. Harv was a member of New Life Reformed Church. His hobbies included racing, fishing, working on puzzles and spending time with grandchildren, especially at Willow Bay Resort in Spicer, Minnesota for a week each July. Harv is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy Nibbelink of Sioux Center; his two children and four grandchildren: Todd and Crystal (Hoppe) Nibbelink and their children: Zackery and Raina of Hull, Kim and Jamie Van Ravenswaay and their daughters: Kaitlyn and Shelby of Sioux Center; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Lowell and Glenda Bonnema of Steen, MN, Max and Carol Blaylock of Duncanville, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Carla (Koopmans)Nibbelink of Sioux Center; mother-in-law, Berdie (Hulstein) Broek of Sioux Center and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan Nibbelink; his parents, Gerrit and Henrietta and father-in-law, Cornie Broek.
