Tara Krommendyk

Tara Krommendyk, 38, of Ireton, IA, died unexpectedly, Tuesday October 28, 2014, at her Ireton residence. A visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8PM, with the family present from 5-7PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM at the Maurice First Reformed Church of Maurice, IA with Rev. Gary Hegstad officiating. Interment will follow the service in Sherman Township Cemetery of Maurice. Tara Elizabeth Krommendyk was the daughter of Lynne (Krommendyk) Te Velde. She was born in Sheldon, Iowa on January 16, 1976. She lived most of her life in Orange City, Hull, Sioux Center and Ireton, Iowa. Tara was raised by her mother and grandparents, Leonard and Lorraine Krommendyk. She loved them deeply. Tara married Doug Hulstein and had four children: Ashley, Tyler, Aaron and Hannah. Tara was employed at Casey's General Store in Sioux Center. She enjoyed her job and found great friends in her co-workers. Tara is survived by her four children: Ashley (Jake) Van Der Stoep, Tyler, Aaron and Hannah Hulstein all of Hull; two half-sisters: Abby Te Velde-Hawley of Le Mars, Emily Te Velde of Sioux Center; two step-sisters: Becky (Scott) Arvila of New London, MN, Marcia Te Velde (Marc Olson) of Terrace, MN; step-brother, Mike (Lisa) Te Velde of Hull. Tara is also survived by her maternal grandparents: Leonard and Lorraine Krommendyk of Orange City; her aunt, Barb Kady of Wilton ND; two uncles: Robert (Wendy) Krommendyk of Palm Beach, FL and Dan (Theresa) Krommendyk of Sioux City. Tara was preceded in death by her mother, Lynne Te Velde; her step father, Albert Te Velde; her uncle, Paul Krommendyk; aunt, Rhonda Krommendyk and her cousin, Brandon Krommendyk.
