Moises Romero, 57, of Sioux Center, IA died unexpectedly Saturday, August 23, 2014 from injuries sustained in a work related accident. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8PM, with the family present from 6-8PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 7:00PM at Christ the King Catholic Church of Sioux Center with Fr. Douglas Klein officiating. Moises Nava Romero was born on September 13, 1956 in Montescobedo, Zacatecaz, Mexico to Epifanio Romero and Delfina Nava. Moises was raised in Jalisco, Mexico. He married Luz Elena Sanchez in December of 1979 in Colotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. Following their marriage Moises lived and worked in California for several years returning to visit Luz and his daughters until they were able to live with him in the United States. In July of 1998, the family settled in Sioux Center, Iowa where Moises was employed at SiouxPreme Pork and later Center Fresh Egg. This year Moises established his own business, Brothers Tree Service, utilizing his 25 years of experience pruning and falling trees. Moises made friends easily, and was known for his friendly personality and warm smile. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church of Sioux Center. Moises is survived by his wife, Luz Romero of Sioux Center; three daughters: Susy (Noe) Diaz, Lucy (Marco) Maldonado and Gaby Romero all of Sioux Center; five grandchildren: Sinay Diaz, Jairo Diaz, Ahlya Diaz, Alex Maldonado, Max Maldonado; his mother, Delfina Nava of California; four brothers: Jaime Romero of California, Conrado Romero of Sioux Center, Ignacio Romero of Sibley, Jose Romero of Sioux Center; two sisters: Maria Romero and Alejandrina Romero both of Sioux Center. Moises was preceded in death by his father, Epifanio Romero and a sister, Rosa Romero. Moises Romero Nava naci el 13 de septiembre de 1956 en Montescobedo, Zacatecaz, México a Epifanio Romero y Delfina Nava. Moisés fue criado en Jalisco, México. Se cas con Luz Elena Snchez en Diciembre de 1979 en Colotln, Jalisco, México. Después de su matrimonio Moisés vivi y trabaj en California por varios aos y regresaba a visitar a Luz y a sus hijas hasta que fueron capaces de vivir con él en los Estados Unidos. En julio de 1998, la familia se instal en Sioux Center, Iowa Moises trabajo en SiouxPreme Packing y despues Center Fresh Egg. Este ao Moisés estableci su propio negocio, Brothers Tree Service, utilizando sus 25 aos de experiencia cortando arboles. Moisés hizo fcilmente amigos, y era conocido por su personalidad amable y clida sonrisa. l era un miembro de Cristo la Iglesia Catlica Rey de Sioux Center. Moisés procede en muerte de su padre, Epifanio Romero y hermana, Rosa Romero.
