Kathryne Kleyweg

Kathryne E. Kleyweg, 75, of Saint Paul, MN died unexpectedly Monday, October 28, 2013, at her Saint Paul residence. A funeral service will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center, IA with Rev. Rick Van Ravenswaay officiating. Interment will follow the service in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center. Kathryne Elizabeth (Seipel) Kleyweg was born on November 14, 1937 in Mellen, Wisconsin to Germain and Helen (Lobos) Seipel. Kathryne was raised in Mellen where she graduated valedictorian of her high school class. Kathryne was united in marriage to Cornelius "Neal" Kleyweg, Jr. on December 12, 1961 at Saint Paul, Minnesota. Neal preceded her in death on March 25, 2009. Kathryne is gone from our lives, but will live on in the memories of our family bond. We loved her and always knew in our hearts the love she had in hers. Genesis tells us God created the earth and all it's living creatures and saw that it was good. Kathryne's tender appreciation of both were part of her daily life and she will be missed. Kathryne is survived by her four children: Laura Kleyweg, William Kleyweg, Joan (Dean) Sinna and Sharon "Dee" Kleyweg all of Saint Paul, Minnesota; two grandchildren: Jennifer Kleyweg and Justin Kleyweg, both of Saint Paul, Minnesota; four great grandchildren; seven siblings: Regina Howard of California, Rita Normington of Wisconsin, George Seipel of Indiana, Mary (Ray) Koski of Minnesota, Lawrence Seipel of Wisconsin, Joni (Ray) Dauphinais of Wisconsin and Monica Rice of Wisconsin. Kathryne is also survived by her Kleyweg in-laws: Barbara Kleyweg of Illinois, Nicholas and Della Kleyweg of Sioux City, Cornelia Jassey of Sioux Center and Martin and Peggy Kleyweg of Illinois; sister-in-law, Mary Kleyweg of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cornelius "Neal" Kleyweg; her parents; and a grandson, Jason Kleyweg.
