Magdalena Rensink Fedders was born December 7, 1921, to Peter Sr. and Tryntje (Schelling) Moerman on a farm near Ireton, Iowa. On January 31, 1940, Magdalena married William Rensink Jr. in Sioux Center. The couple farmed and raised their family northeast of Sioux Center. She enjoyed canning vegetables, fruits and meats.
