She met her husband, Bob, at Fillenwarth Beach at Lake Okoboji. Barb had many precious memories of the lake and it was always a favorite vacation spot. After the birth of their two sons, Barb and Bob moved their family to California where they have lived for the last 16 years. Barb worked as a secretary at Tulare Community Church for more than 10 years until her illness prevented her from working. Barb loved to go to the beach and had a love of reading. The most important part of her life was her family and ensuring that they knew and loved God. Barb left behind a legacy for her family and friends of loving God and loving family.
