Beverly A. Klein

November 26, 1929 — December 19, 2006

Beverly A. Klein, 77, of Sioux Center, died Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at the Hegg Memorial Health Center of Rock Valley.

Memorial services will be Friday, December 22, 2006 at 11:00am at New Life Reformed Church with Reverend Carl Boersma officiating. Interment will be held prior to the memorial service in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 4pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

A prayer service will be held Friday, December 22, 2006 at 10am at Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Beverly Ann (Schoen) Klein was born to Floyd and Nellie (Christiansen) Schoen on November 26, 1929 in Fairview, South Dakota. Beverly was raised in Hudson, South Dakota where she attended Hudson schools through the eighth grade.

On October 19, 1946, Beverly married Herman Lolly Klein in Sioux City, Iowa. The couple then lived in the Sioux Center area. Herman died unexpectedly on May 6, 1982.

Beverly worked for a time at K-Products as well as Harkers Meats both of Sioux Center. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and line dancing. She was a member of New Life Reformed Church of Sioux Center, and was always willing to volunteer to help when needed.

She is survived by two sons: Ronnie Klein and his wife, Sara of Pender, Nebraska, Rodney Klein of California; a daughter, Bonnie Pieper of Sioux Center; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Donna Middle of Nevada, Iowa, Doris De Bondt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two sisters-in-law: Lucile Schoen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Shirley Schoen of Oregon, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Lolly; infant daughter, Cheryl Lee Klein; son, Randy Klein; her parents; brothers: Donald and Floyd Schoen; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Stan Engelbretson; two brothers-in-law, Clarence Middle and Bill De Bondt.
