Jeff Sandbulte

JEFF SANDBULTE, 33, of Minneapolis, MN, formerly of Sioux Center, IA, died Sunday, 5/14, at the University Good Samaritan Center in Minneapolis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 5/17, at 10:30am at the Carmel Reformed Church of rural Rock Valley, with Rev. Mark Heijerman officiating. Interment will follow in Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5/16, from 4pm to 8pm, with the family present from 6:30pm to 8pm at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.



Jeffrey Allen Sandbulte was born in Sioux Center on November 21, 1972 to Michael G. and Lorraine F. (Brinkman) Sandbulte. He is a 1991 graduate of Sioux Center Community High School.

On June 19, 1992, in Rock Valley, Jeff was married to Tara Walling. The couple had two children, Katelyn Corrine and Michael Blake. They were later divorced.

Jeff was an avid fan of all sports. He loved to play basketball and watch his beloved Miami Dolphins football team. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his children, Katelyn and Michael of Doon; a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and George Busi of Tampa, FL; brother and sister-in-law, David and Kasey Sandbulte of Emmetsburg, IA; and brother, Aaron Sandbulte of Tampa, FL; one niece; three nephews; his mother, Lorraine (Charles) Kellen of Brandon, SD; and grandmother, Katherine Brinkman of Canton, SD.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael; and grandparents, Milton and Thelma Sandbulte; and grandfather, Pete Brinkman.
