Gloria J. Peuse, 56, of Sioux Center, IA died Wednesday, 3/22, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 3/25, at 1pm in the Sanctuary of First Reformed Church of Sioux Center with Rev. Roger Voskuil officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2pm to 8pm with the family present from 6pm to 8pm at the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

GLORIA JOY PEUSE was born December 10, 1949 to Jim and Joyce (Van Leeuwen) Beltman in Sheldon, Iowa. She grew up near Hospers, attended Hospers Christian School and graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull. She married John Peuse on June 8, 1972 at the Hospers Christian Reformed Church. Gloria and John resided in Sioux Center where they raised their family.
Gloria was employed at the Sioux Center Community Hospital for the past ten years. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center and held close friendships through her Bible study group. Her character was defined by her concern for others. Gloria enjoyed nature and treasured spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John Peuse of Sioux Center; her daughter, Sheila (Stephan) Jennebach of Rochester, MN and her son Dr. Michael Peuse and Tricia Weg of Phoenix, AZ. Gloria is also survived by her father, Jim (Gladys) Beltman of Sheldon; a sister, Karen (Greg) Jeltema of Orange City; two brothers: Dennis (Doris) Beltman of Orange City and Arlyn (Elaine) Beltman of Alton; sister-in-law, Gertrude (Klaas) Van Beek of Sioux Center.
Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce (Van Leeuwen) Beltman; along with her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Hester (Cleveringa) Peuse.
