Keith Sandbulte

September 22, 1960 — February 2, 2005

KEITH DALE SANDBULTE was born to Milton and Thelma (Van Berkum) Sandbulte on September 22, 1960 in Sioux Center, Iowa. Keith grew up on the family farm 11/2 miles north of Carmel, Iowa and graduated from Sioux Center Public School in 1979. After graduating from high school he worked full-time for Supreme Pack of Sioux Center as well as raising his own hogs.

Keith was full of life and well known for his sense of humor, quick wit and ability to make others laugh. He seemed to always have a story or a one liner that would catch you off guard.

Keith enjoyed playing and watching sports of every kind. For years he spent many summer nights playing slow-pitch softball. He enjoyed the Forth of July and was known for his fireworks displays.

Through most of his life, Keith lived in the Carmel area. He attended Carmel Reformed Church and enjoyed spending time with his family. After Keith was diagnosed with Huntingtons chorea he made his residence, for a number of years, at Plymouth Life Inc. of Le Mars. In his last years he became a resident of University Good Samaritan Center in Minneapolis where he received the special care he needed.

Surviving are, two brothers: Larry Sandbulte of Pella, IA; Kevin Sandbulte and his wife, Nohemi of Sioux Center; two sisters: Cheryl Sandbulte of Minneapolis and Christy Zeutenhorst and her husband, Darryl of Sioux Center and several nieces and nephews. Keith is also survived by his uncles, aunts, a host of cousins and relatives.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Milt and Thelma Sandbulte; brothers, Mike Sandbulte and Vic Sandbulte; sister, Connie Dragstra and nephew, Jared Sandbulte.
