Adelina Sanchez age 48, of Hawarden, IA, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Hospers, IA.

A memorial service is at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Christ Community Evangelical Free Church in Sioux Center, IA.

Adelina Cecilia Pressilla Sanchez was born on January 8, 1974, the daughter of Miguel and Adelina Sanchez. She will be remembered for her kind spirit in translating for the Hispanic community, her deep love for her grandkids, and her love for music and dance.

Adelina is survived by her five children, Jessica Vargas, Kiki (Addink) Chalbi, Ricky Addink, Marina Landegent, and Tony Landegent; six grandchildren, Jaquelin Vargas, Jesenia Vargas, Dominic Lopez, Liam Marquez, Ava Nabity, Nora-Rose-Lee Chalbi, and Zion Landegent; her five siblings, Victor Basmirez, Joelle Gonzalez, Micaela Gatica, Angelita Sanchez, and Amelia Romero; as well as other extended family and friends.

Addy was preceded in death by her parents, Miguel and Adelina Sanchez.
