Jeanette Leusink

     Jeanette Leusink, age 93 of Sioux Center, Iowa died Friday, December 11, 2020 at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull, Iowa.

     Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15^th at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center, with Stephen Breen officiating. Livesteam to Jeanette's Funeral Service

     Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Sioux Center.

     Visitation will be Tuesday, December 15^th from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at First Reformed Church of Sioux Center.

     Due to current concerns with Covid and Governors mandate, social distancing and mask protocol will be observed.

     Jeanette Leusink was born October 19, 1927 in Hull, Iowa. The daughter of Henry and Kate (Vis) Leusink. She was raised near Perkins, Iowa and attended Capel Township #4 School. She moved to Sioux Center with her family when they retired and provided care for them until their death. She also worked at Dr. Mouw’s Dental Office, Sioux Center Coop, Gas & Oil and Kroese & Kroese CPA Office. In retirement years she always enjoyed caring for her outdoor flowers, cross-stitch and traveling.

     In July of 2017, Jeanette entered the Pleasant Acres Care Center and remained living there until her death, this past Friday, December 11, 2020.

     She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Kate Leusink; ten siblings, Henrietta (John) Driesen, Hattie (Ed) Berghorst, Pete (Ann) Leusink, Grace (Ray) De Weerd, Gerrit John (Genevieve) Leusink, Bill (Tena) Leusink, Gertie (Abe) Beukelman, Catherine (Bill Beukelman & Steve) Vos and Gerrit Henry (Gertrude) Leusink, and Johnnie Leusink in infancy.
