Jeffrey "Jeff" Nibbelink

     Jeffrey “Jeff” Nibbelink, 51, of Sioux Center, Iowa died, Sunday, February 16, 2020 at his residence. 

     Memorial services will be at 11AM, Thursday, February 20, 2020, at Faith Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center with Rev. Bob Pollema and Rev. Cliff Hoekstra officiating.

     Prayer service for family and friends will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday at the Faith Christian Reformed Church at Sioux Center. Interment will follow the prayer service in the Memory Gardens Cemetery of Sioux Center.

     Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020, with family present from 5-7PM at the Faith Christian Reformed Church.

     Jeffrey Scott Nibbelink was born on November 9, 1968 to Archie and Marj Nibbelink in Pipestone, MN and was raised in Edgerton, MN. He attended Edgerton Christian School and graduated from Southwest Christian in Edgerton. Jeff received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Dordt College in Sioux Center.

     Jeff was baptized and made his profession of faith at the First Christian Reformed Church in Edgerton. After moving to Sioux Center, he became a member of Faith Christian Reformed Church.

     Jeff married Kim Heim on June 15, 1996 at Faith CRC and they resided in Sioux Center since that time. Jeff enjoyed working at Link Manufacturing in Sioux Center for over 25 years, with a brief employment at Med Tec in Orange City.

     Jeff enjoyed golfing with friends and boating and camping with Kim and their two children, David (DJ) and Jessica. At home, Jeff enjoyed working around the house. Over the years, he did many woodworking projects for family, friends and church.

     He loved being involved in his kid’s activities, attending many school music, theater, and dance events with them.

     Jeff was also an active church and community member, serving as a deacon at Faith CRC, a Sioux Center Christian School Board member and on the Siouxland Boys Choir Board.

     Jeff is survived by his wife, Kim; his children, DJ and Jessica; his parents, Archie and Marj Nibbelink of Edgerton, MN; siblings, Tadd (Amy) Nibbelink of Omaha, NE, Nicole (Pat) Lorch of Jacksonville, FL and Brett (Michelle) Nibbelink of San Jose, CA; grandmother, Hannah Mae Meyer of Britt, IA; mother-in-law, Sandra Heim of Early, IA; two sisters-in-law, Vicki Heim of Early, IA and Barb (Jerry) Weinzetl of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers-in-law, Chuck (Kendra) Heim of South Point, OH, Rick (Kay) Heim of Whitesboro, TX and Jeff (Ann) Heim of Bettendorf, IA; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

     He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Elmer Meyer; and paternal grandparents, William G. and Adrianna Nibbelink.
