Kevin R. Pruismann

Kevin Pruismann, age 65 of Sioux Center, Iowa died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at his residence in Sioux Center.

Graveside services will be held at 10AM Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center, IA

Kevin Pruismann was born on May 8, 1959, in Sioux Center, Iowa to Marvin and Jean (Doornink) Pruismann. He grew up on a farm outside of Rock Valley, Iowa. He attended Rock Valley Community Schools and graduated from Rock Valley High School in 1978. After graduation, he took to the road as a semi-truck driver. He spent most of his adult life behind the wheel. He enjoyed cooking and his creativity shined in the kitchen. He found joy in his dogs. His dog, “Oscar,” was a loyal companion for many years. 

Kevin is survived by his two daughters: Megan (Yianni) Stathoudakis and their two children of Modesto, California and Mandi (Joel) Dolieslager and their two children of Orange City; brother, Kent (Sylvia) Pruismann of Rock Valley; two sisters: Karen (Dan) Mulder of Orange City and Kay (Jim) Kosters of Alton and several nieces and nephews. 

Kevin was preceded in death by both parents, a brother, a nephew and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
