Her daughter was born in Cadillac, Michigan, and both sons were born in Denver, Colorado. Magdalene worked at the Denver Theological Seminary Library. She married Joe Liberatore in 1984, and she helped with the accounting of their business. Magdalene continued to live in Denver until 1996. She loved visiting her grandchildren and would often stay for extended periods of time.

She was a woman of consistency, and she loved her daily routines, including prayer and devotions. She enjoyed reading books to her grandchildren and gifted them with many books by Max Lucado.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Kristine Kaemingk and Gene Gross of Tucson, AZ; Karl and Shirley Kaemingk of Sioux Center, IA; and Kendal and Mindy Kaemingk of Parker, CO.

Magdalene enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kade Gross, Danika Gross, Sarah and Zach Jensema and their sons Jaethan and Zander, Heather and Mark Tiemersma, Andrew and Taylor Kaemingk, Nicole Kaemingk, Randall and Carley Kaemingk, Anna Kaemingk, and Evan Kaemingk.
